Original artwork description:

I created this smaller moth painting after having created a little bee for Artfinder's partnership with the environmental charity Friends of the Earth bee-themed art exhibition for the launch of the Great British Bee Count.

I wanted to experiment with a different insect on the golden leaf background.

This painting has a beautiful glow during the day and especially at night. Its reflective surface adds a touch of warmth to any room in your home.
I will be producing another 5 paintings with this golden leaf background featuring animals. Follow me and stay tuned!

This painting is:
- 8 x 10 in. / 20.32 x 25.4 cm.
- painted with Zecchi firenze professional grade Italian oil paints
- painted on light golden leaf which has been protected in 6 layers of laquer I prepare in my studio
- signed on the front & eventually on the back
