One day I fell in love with Kentucky, beautiful people, beautiful country, beautiful landscapes, beautiful lakes, beautiful ‘blue grass,’ beautiful woods... even golf courses are beautiful there (although they don’t walk playing golf, they drive carts).
The small painting shows a Sunday-afternoon-landscape. Why Sunday and not Saturday? Because Sunday seems to be more peaceful, I think; and countryside in Kentucky is very peaceful (so long no tornadoes are in sight).
I do still love Kentucky, and I hope you can recognise it in this painting.
The painting is double mounted and framed and its framed size is 20 x 15 x 3.5 cm. The colour of the frame is glossy gray.
This is a miniature painting, and its actual size may be much smaller than this one you see on your screen. I've coated the sturdy Strathmore Bristol board with thick artist grade acrylic paint and varnished it to protect against air pollution and UV radiation.
My certificate of authenticity will be included.
