This painting I painted according to my Slow Art concept*.

In between multi layers of paint a fine line like a wave or the shape of a woman's body can be discovered in between the turquois water. Like in most of my paintings, the subject is not the main focus of my art, it is more the feeling, that it awakes by looking at it.

* I believe in the Slow Movement, like Slow food and Slow living as a lifestyle.
That's why I create: Slow Art. The art of deceleration.
In a world where we hardly find time to rest, I try to offer what many people long for: visual places where time appears to run slower.

Using colors that are less harsh and more calming. Soft colors together with white tones give this feeling of slowing down and reinject us the energy we need every day.


This painting can be hang both ways and has multi layers of acrylic paint on canvas making this work highly textural. The canvas is stretched over professionally made wooden stretcher bars.
The sides are painted so the art work is ready to hang.
It comes signed with a certificate of authenticity by the artist and it will be shipped stretched in a cardboard box.
