Artist's description:

A vivid abstract, full of momentum, describing the mountains and loch in Scotland where my family used to go for summer holidays. Taken from an old photograph which features my Grandmother in the foreground, this painting is an expression of the mood and energy of sky, water and hills, and draws you in to the landscape by which it was inspired.

A small boat sits on the water, which in the photo was manned by my aunts and uncles as children. I think the painting expresses the permanence and unstoppable force of nature against the fragile aspect of human life.

This painting will be professionally hand framed in a top quality wooden frame before shipping.
