The painting, in acrylic, ink and spray paint, is a portrait of Daenerys on a decoupage background of the 'Art of Lord Of The Rings' book, showing the influences and history of the fantasy genre. Daenerys' face is very opaque, with parts of the text and pictures from the book below showing through, in places the paint has been scraped off, to reveal the story beneath.
