Original artwork description:
Encouraged by a fair weather forecast I resolved to rise early the next morning to enjoy a little Plein air painting. A tree yet without leaves in early spring provided the subject mater however the real star of the show was the light.
The pastel colours changed rapidly and my brush moved quickly from paint box to canvas.The completed painting reflects not only the colours I had seen but also the colours I had felt.
