Artwork description:

Inspired by the moon and the drifting clouds at night. I initially began this image from a photograph of a moonlit night in Scotland with the clouds occasionally passing over the shape of the moon. It was a balmy summer evening.
Then I took the image into the darkroom and made it into a photogram and inverted the image so the moon was dark and the clouds were light. This picked up the shapes of the clouds which I drew out and made into a silkscreen print. The image I then printed digitally ready for another layer of printing over the top.
A final layer of silver metallic screen print was added to create the atmospheric feel and to give a good depth of field to add a contemplative meditative image.
