Combining my love of the figure in motion along with my fascination with all things celestial I wanted to create a sensation of the physical form 'de-materialising' into metaphysical matter. The full moon serves to enhance both the cosmic suggestion of the image along with the exaltation of the ascending figure. Created using many layers of gouache and watecrolor stippling.
