Original artwork description:
Unique artwork. Monotype of Durham viaduct on Japanese Kozo paper. Bold gestural marks are printed off woodgrain with waterbased inks to produce this image of the viaduct, church, road and shops below. I burnished the image by hand, using a bamboo baren, not using a press.
This will be rolled in a protective cardboard for posting.
Materials used:
Kozo paper and waterbased inks, wooden board, bamboo baren.
