This is part of a series of paintings that I name "Moments back in time". This particular one is on a larger canvas, that's 30x30cm (or 12x12 Inches).
This painting begs a nice frame, so I've done some research and found a couple that I thought would fit it perfectly. I have attached photos of all of them. If you do want a frame please let me know and I'll frame it for you at only the frame's cost.
They depict common and sometimes historic people at different moments in time and history. Common people going about their daily lives and day to day affairs. Little nostalgic scenes and places I wish I were at when they were happening.
I have always been a kind of person that wants to be everywhere at once, and to do everything at once. Certainly that's impossible for the average person, and being an artist who's just starting his career makes it even more so.
When I discovered that I could look at old photographs, edit them the way I liked, and paint them, that stuck with me in a very deep way. This way I could be part of everything I wanted to, and even better, I could remove the parts I didn't find beautiful and stay only with the beautiful, and then share this with other people so they could see what I was seeing, and hope that this will inspire people to make a beautiful world, to remove the ugly and stay with the beautiful. This is the reason why I paint.
I have many collectors worldwide for these paintings and people are very happy because they're different from anything they had seen before, they'are small canvases (which can even fit in a big pocket or purse), yet they have a lot to show. I work with a lot of attention to detail, objects, faces. My collectors love the idea of having these little people, who seem alive, going about their lives, doing their own things, inside little canvases that they can look at and be part of whenever they wish to.
All my 8x8" painting canvases, specially from my latest works, are made on the really top quality canvases available. They are 1 inch thick, made in Europe with quality wood stretchers and primed both at the back and at the front to avoid damage due to humidity.
Please notice that colours may vary slightly due to warm/cool configurations of cameras and screens.
