Artist's description:

This print is part of a series of three which reference memories of architecture and ordinary moments from around a family home on the South coast of Dorset.

The print is taken from a block of limestone which I drew onto and chemically processed in order to fix the image in the stone and make it printable. There are two elements to it, part of the image is printed directly onto the paper itself from the stone block, and the other part is printed onto thin Japanese and collaged on.

Materials used:

Oil based lithographic ink, Japanese Kozo paper, Somerset paper.
