Artist's description:

Modern Art is Rubbish! The Three Classes

This work has been inspired by a television programme aired earlier this year “Who’s Afraid of Conceptual Art?” (see below) and the work by Martin Creed work No. 88 “A Sheet of A4 paper crumpled into a ball” (1995)

Instead of representing a “Ball” I am representing the “Human Body” in the form of a paper “Ball”

This artwork has been inspired by the “The Class Sketch” from the 60s highlighting the different Classes in the UK, which is still evident today. It features John Cleese (from Faulty Towers) as “Upper Class”, Ronnie Baker as “Middle Class”, and Ronnie Corbett as “Lower Class”. In the work, I’m questioning, Is it What you Know? Or Who you know?

The Three Classes is made of three different sizes of Paper: "Lower Class" is A5 Paper (half size of A4), "Middle Class" is A4 Paper, "Upper Class" is A3 Paper (double the size of A4 Paper)
