This painting has been inspired by the Bulgarian Rila mountain and the spectacular views of the amazing Rila scenery. One of my fondest memories is the weekend hike I took over the Rila mountains in the summer of 2011, with my good friends. We travelled to Rila Monastry and spent a few comfortable and peaceful nights under the sky.
This small painting is made with acrylic and gold wax beautifully representing the rising sun.
