This cute little complimentary bird and base have been created entirely from handmade paper pulp and shaped into being by a very natural creative process. A method used to create a few of my initial 3d bird sculptures.
This two piece artwork is a one of a kind little pastel dream.
Both base and bird are painted in pastel acrylic colours with tiny details in enamel and fine pen line.
The bird measures 5 cm from beak to tail and 9 cm from wing tip to wing tip and approx 3 cm in height at the highest point.
Base measurements are 4.5 cm W x 8.5 L cm x 2 cm H (all measurements are for thickest - largest - widest sections.)
