This is the view from the kitchen window of the house where my girlfriend grew up in. From the first moment I laid eyes on this house, I knew I was going to have to paint it. I didn't even know it at the time, but this house has been standing empty for years, and according to my girlfriend, even when it was occupied during her childhood, it was always rumored to be haunted by spirits of native americans. I am not a particularly mystical person, but ghost or not, this house is eerily beautiful.
