This portrait is Michael O' Neill who had originally been persuaded by Barclay's Bank to come and work for them - however he resigned before taking the job due to his Doctor's advice on his health.

This painting is part of a series of works exploring CEOs and MPs who made the news after resigning from their jobs for one reason of another during the financial crisis that began in 2008/ 9.
