Adam chose this image because it represents a moment in which the responsibility of another determined an outcome that could not have been foreseen. Symbolic of the responsibility we all have in our interactions with others in this world. In this case the actions of bullying and a choice made.

The image of the soldier melts into the grey, representing metal - where a soldier loses himself in the mist of battle, whether within a battle in the field or the battle within their mind.
