An image of what was a dashing and sophisticated sports car and is now rather a sad, but very interesting and decorative artwork.
It is part of a series of paintings initiated by a Dutch gentleman who bought a painting of a rusty old Simca truck, in an exhibition here in France in 2016. He has since bought two more and is waiting for a commission which will not be offered for sale here.
Can you hear the rusty hinges squeak as the doors are lifted up?
