Recently, I had the opportunity to meet several elderly, more that eighty. They told me how was life before, seventy years ago. The work in the fields with horses, war, the courage of some, changes in behavior and attitudes ...
All this led to ask myself the question of what makes our life. Daily life dictates our behavior, but, our memories and our experiences have shaped who we are today.
The today life of these persons who stand in front of me, reflects the past that they have experienced. Their memories, bits of their past life gradually crumbled, that disappear behind the wall of the time. They remember some important events, which are restore points, as we say in computer science, points that form the foundation of their future.
This painting shows holes that time makes on our memory to form a patchwork of small moments of our experience, both present and fuzzy, those that have made what we are today.
