Cute, tiny painting made on 300 gsm 50% cotton Fabriano paper with watercolours, acrylics and pencil on MDF board. The artwork is framed with a wooden vintage upcycled ornate frame, painted in gold: my grandma loved to hang in her living room many of similar tiny paintings with wooden frames, but often they represented landscapes, puppies, mountain villages etc. Here we have a nice girl with origami in her hairs. She's saying "Maybe tomorrow." She's saying it to who? and about what? Who knows? I'm sure that everyone of us could find a different answer... and everyone of these answers are true!
PLEASE NOTE: the frame is a vintage item, so little signs of use are present, anyway it's in excellent vintage conditions. I needed a vintage item to give to this little painting the idea of a grandma living room style ;-)! I have repainted it in gold so no scratches are present.
IMPORTANT: I have glued the paper on an MDF board stapled directly on the frame. Don't try to remove the artwork from its MDF support, or you'll tear it up. The frame has to be considered as part of the artwork. The frame had no glass, so I protected the painting with a layer of acrylic matt varnish.
My artworks are carefully packed and shipped worldwide via Poste Italiane.
