Bright washes of acrylic color make up a majestic fjord in the background. The sparse silhouette of a maple branch obscures the foreground. The black of the leaves was stamped with actual maple leaves and then outlined with hot neon red.
This large painting is a tribute to the natural beauty of British Columbia. The style was inspired by my love of Chinese Literati art and a Permaculture (sustainability design) course. Executed on the back of reclaimed wall panelling. Lightly varnished. The picture is custom framed in clear reclaimed cedar with small black trim. Can be sold without frame for more affordable shipping.
