This mandala was made during a time when I was still learning about mandalas, trying different kinds and experimenting with different techniques. I attended a workshop for a few months and had so much fun with my colleagues! Mandalas really change you and help you grow and I think it's an amazing process!
This mandala was made on a thin cardboard, in a hexagon shape, by simply putting paint on the cardboard and then bending it - one side over the other in order for the paint to spread. No brushes were used, letting the paint the freedom to go wherever it wanted. Interesting shapes came out for everyone! With some mandalas, you have an idea of how it will start, but you never know how it will end and this is what I love the most about this process!
