Contemporary painting of Manatee with flowing long abstract brushstrokes and heavy texture in shades of gray, beige, taupe, silver, gold, champagne, and light bronze metallic colors.
I created an abstract landscape painting that representing shapes the patterns of fossilized sea shells with colorful geological layers and amazing stone formations.

I was inspired to create the painting by visiting Beaches of Captiva and Sanibel Island, located on the beautiful Gulf Coast of Florida. Many secluded and even not-so-secluded shorelines are covered in shells and different shapes and colors of stones and fossilized corals. Working with color, line, and texture, I painted a singular interpretation of my connection with nature. Original and modern feel and really nice texture.

This is an original abstract 3D vertical or horizontal contemporary painting presented on a gallery wrapped canvas.
Painting is stretched on a supported 1.5 inch thick wooden frame.
Only high quality artist grade acrylic paint and mediums are used.
The painting is hand signed and dated on the back.
