Inspired by the magic found in the simple moment, my aerial portrait series was inspired by views from my hotel balcony in some of my favorite cities. My work reflects the pursuit of the next stage of evolution in contemporary figure painting. This oil painting depicts an aerial view of a the first in a two-step running sequence of a Parisian man on the sidewalk of St. Germain. It can be purchased separately or with its companion piece, Man in Blue Walking Number Two. This is a passionately painted rendition of a moving urban portrait. This expressive piece is part of my award-winning Pixel Impressionism series. At first glance, this painting is a realist depiction of a moving subject, but, upon close inspection, it is an abstract, expressive, Impressionistic painting. Made from archival materials on 1.5" heavy duty, museum-wrap stretched canvas with finished edges, this piece is ready to hang on your wall, or frame to suit taste. If purchased with its companion piece, the two can be displayed as a horizontal or vertical diptych.
