An original figure study pastel and charcoal drawing of a male nude in a relaxed and sensuous crouching pose.
This is a fantastic and affordable way to own an original and unique piece of art for home decor or for your art collection.
The tasteful and discreet model pose has been hand drawn with charcoal from life drawing studies. The artwork is on beige artist pastel paper and measures 50 x 50 cm and fits a variety of home ware picture frames.
A great piece to complement your home decor or to add to your art collection.
The human figure is my primary inspiration in drawing and painting, to explore the possibilities of line, shape, colour and form.
From originally attending life drawing classes as an aid to my studies in art, the human figure has since become my abiding passion to explore my creativity in a multitude of media - drawing, painting, collage and even embroidery.
This piece is informed by a fascination with the works of figurative artists such as Egon Schiele, whilst remaining a modern and contemporary interpretation. The bold and confident pose of the female model deserved to be reflected with a strong line and bright, assertive colours.
The artwork is not sold framed.
