Artist's description:

This is an Indian Ink drawing on an original antique document dated 1818/1819.
I love to visit antique fairs and auctions searching for interesting paper to draw on - this particular paper originally came from a Cheshire solicitors office.

I mixed red, yellow and black inks together to create a brownish ink that matched the writing on the document, then used an antique nib pen to draw this gentleman.

The drawing is presented with a double mount (mat) card. This is in antique white with a narrow black inner. I can arrange framing - this would be a black frame and I always use conservation glass to protect image. If you would like more details please contact me.
