The Majorelle gardens in Marrakech, the paradise of Yves St. Laurent and his partner Pierre Bergé. These blue palms were so inspiring, so magnificent. The heat and light shining through. Painted in oils on canvas. I go into my studio each morning and face this painting, the more I see it the more it draws me in. It is so meditative. I’m not so sure I want to sell it now!
