This is one of the Studies for a Portrait of an English actress Emilia Fox with her daughter.
The final Portrait is in a Private Collection now, but I keep a few Studies.

Emilia’s daughter Rose was slightly over a year old at the time, and she just wouldn’t sit still! We had to arrange a special photo session for her at Ms Fox’s home in West London. As Emilia was extremely busy, I used every opportunity to show her the progress with the picture. This Study, for example, was discussed between the matinee and evening shows at Hampstead Theatre in London, where she brilliantly played in “Rapture, Blister, Burn” in February 2014.
