'Looking Back' is a mood portrait of a young woman deep in thought. One of only a few remaining figurative works available from the artist's figurative painting years of 2000 - 2016, this piece evokes serenity and nostalgia with the elegance of the vintage brocade settee. The work is unframed and features green, beige, and deep rose.

The model is reliving something in her past. Her environment is quiet and still and she appears to be alone. But is she lonely...?

The work has been painted with professional oil paints and varnished with Gamblin Gamar for protection. It is unframed and ready to hang with a wire attached. The painting is continued as it wraps around the sides of the stretcher (no frame is required)

The painting, signed on the front and back, will be sent with a certificate of authenticity
