Long tailed tits are rarely found alone, in fact when passing a tree where they have decided to stop and rest, you'd be forgiven in thinking that the tree itself had found a voice. The chattering of these tiny birds seems to fill the air with conversation as if during their flight they kept thinking of things to say and were desperate to share these thoughts as soon as the group took a break.
After all this it seemed wrong to paint a single bird, so here are three together, without a doubt nattering on at each other in excitement.
