Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

reduction woodcut of a Crow Indian man's shirt. It was produced for a gallery in Montana where the Crow Indians are most populated. It is also based on the historical figure of Long Otter who was a Crow warrior of the 19th century.
The paper is a German laid paper and the print went through the press 32 times to complete the edition. The text around the garment reads:
Long Otter was a great warleader with a powerful medicine bundle. As a young man he fasted and secured a sacred helper to aid him on the battlefield.
