Another in my Echinacea series. I particularly like the shallow depth of field in this image. Besides highlighting the mid-rows of spikes on the flower head, it also forces the stem to disappear to a point off canvas. It's like a sharp wine glass stem, or the trail left by the pod as it hurtles towards us. If o=you look closely enough in he full size image, you can see wisps of spider web, between the spikes on the pod. I think it's quite engrossing and impactful. You?
