SOLD
A short walk from my home is Bowes heritage railway it is the only working preserved standard gauge rope hauled railway in the world. Built in 1949 by Andrew Barclay Sons and delightful little locomotive does much of the hard work at the site hauling passengers and materials around the track.
It is hard to beat steam locomotives for atmosphere the clouds of steam produced on this crisp morning provided the primary interest framing this rugged little loco.
