Artist's description:

ochan Coire Mhic Fhearchair

Original watercolour painting by Julie Arbuckle.

The magnificent Coire Mhic Fhearchair (also known as the Triple Buttress) as seen from across the lochan. This amazing place is in Torridon, tucked around the “back” of Beinn Eighe. One of the most striking aspects of this hill is the obvious change in rock types – the newer, greyish blue quartzite top sitting on the much older, reddish Torridonian sandstone (known as an “unconformity” in geological terms). A special place of many moods, home to wildlife and popular with walkers and climbers.

Provided in a professional double mount, in a protective sleeve.

Mount size :25.5 x 30.5 cm (10″ x 12″)
