Original artwork description:

An original painting of the church of St Peter, Llancillo, Herefordshire, close to the Welsh border. The church is tucked away in a fold of the rolling hills, behind a farmyard and adjacent to an ancient motte - testament to the turbulent past of the Border Country. The church chancel dates back to the 11th century, whilst the remainder of the building was substantially re-built in the 17th century. Llancillo church is now in the care of the Friends of Friendless Churches and 50% of the proceeds from the sale of this painting will be donated to the Friends and their work, preserving redundant churches and keeping them open to the public.

Painted in mixed media (pen, ink, ink wash, wax crayon and oil pastel) on acrylic Bockingford 300gsm acid-free paper. The painting is supplied unmounted and unframed and will be sent in a postal tube.
