LIZ AND MIKE is based on an old photograph of Elizabeth Taylor dancing with her (then) husband, Mike Todd. The critical thing to show with “dance” is motion and emotion. I always try to capture both whenever I depict a person or couple dancing. LIZ AND MIKE is a pop-art painting. The main feature of the painting is the way that the emphasis is on Liz's hand on Mike's back. LIZ AND MIKE is a one-of-a-kind, original work of art and no authorized copies will ever be made. The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
