I've heard that the word shenanigans come from the Irish ‘sionnachuighim, meaning ‘to play the fox’. I rather like this idea, being fond of both shenanigans and foxes; I'm pretty sure this young vixen is off out for some high jinx tonight.
This unframed illustration is hand screenprinted from my original drawings, each pattern carefully chosen and drawn to represent something more than words. This symbolic nocturnal vista is a landscape of the unconscious. One our vulpine friend traverses with ease, a fox spirit to guide you through dreams.
The bold colours and meaningful patterns features mean that it makes a unique and beautiful statement piece for any wall. Makes a lovely gift for a fox loving friend, a good friend you like to get up to mischief with, or especially one who needs the guidance of a loving fox-spirit.
Paper, environmental acrylic ink, creative genius
