Original artwork description:
I painted 'Little Birds Sing' after a walk through some local Woodland Trust land. Magenta hawthorn berries clung to the bare branches which stood out against the bright sky. The trees were occupied by small birds chirruping away, clearly attracted by the abundance of the juicy food source. I can't identify birds by their song but I saw blue tits and sparrows. Maybe there were other birds too, as there was quite a chorus.
This painting is an oil on canvas. It is signed on the front and the title is inscribed in charcoal on the reverse. It measures 40cm x 51cm.
'Little Birds Sing' is unframed. [Please note that the frame in the photograph is for illustration purposes only.] The sides of the canvas are white and neat and I have attached hanging string to the back so it can be displayed unframed.
I post using Royal Mail/Parcelforce signed for service to the UK and international tracked to everywhere else.
