Lilly is one of my fabric sculptures, she is specially finished to survive the elements outside all year round. She can withstand rain, ice and frost. (but please don't let her get too wet in a puddle)
Or perhaps because she is so lovely you can just keep her indoors. Quite at home in any room.
She could sit on a plant pot in the garden or be just an home on a shelf or mantelpiece.
She is made from a wire armature and cotton fabric immersed in special fabric hardeners, which makes the fabric very strong and hard to the touch - yet surprisingly lightweight.
I chose to make her in a brown bronze, with verdigre and gold guilt highlights. She has been varnished in three separate layers to protect her for outdoors.
Care: Washable in cold water, they can be swished about to remove dust and allowed to drip dry.
