Original artwork description:

The warmer weather has inspired me to look more closely at the lovely blooms that are beginning to appear in my garden. This canvas provides a close up view of some lilies. I have tried to capture their delicacy. Numerous layers of acrylic have been applied to achieve the depth and mixture of colour in the shadows on the white petals. The sides have been painted to tie in with the image so that there is no need to frame.
