Artist's description:

I'm so tired of winter, I'm jumping ahead to Spring. For inspiration, I am looking at oil paintings and photos from last year. This is a small water color version of a large oil painting from last Spring.

When I am happy with an image and composition, I sometimes like to continue working with it as inspiration. I love to see what results from these experiments.

Watercolor is a new medium for me. I have been looking at the work of the well known Buffalo, NY visionary landscape artist, Charles Burchfield, and German expressionist, Emil Nolde. Both artists used watercolor almost as if it were oil.

This piece will ship to you in a custom cut 16"x20" mat for easy framing.
