Lightning Ridge lives up to its name! Although there is no lightning in this image, there is definitely a ridge at sunset! This image was taken at Five Mile, one of the most famous black opal digging sites in this outback Australian town. I only had my small digital camera with me, so the resolution is not very high, (which is why this photo is available only in a small format), but I could not resist the mysteriousness of the landscape: barren fields and ridges, ghost gum trees, and the sunset which kept changing the scenery every minute.
Most of my images are available in a range of sizes and on different kinds of photographic and fine art paper, including Inkjet Pro Fine Art Paper320gsm, Inkjet Hahnemuele Bright White Rag Paper 310gsm, Inkjet Canson Rag Photographique Paper 310gsm, and Inkjet Hahnemuele Museum Etching Paper 350gsm. Please ask me if you wish to place a special order and I will do my best to fulfil your wishes. Please note that prints on fine art paper will be shipped flat to avoid damage to the extra sensitive print, which may slightly increase the shipping cost. I will provide you with a special shipping quote prior to your placing the order if applicable.
