Have you ever been on the coast one late afternoon, fascinated by the drama unfolding in the sky and playing on the sea?

I recollect evenings on the coast of county Clare watching the heavy rain clouds roll in off the Atlantic, the wind rising, beams of light darting in between the clouds onto the surface of the water forever shifting and morphing in a rich counterpoint to the sky above…

Light on Water IV is ready to hang. The edges, painted with white, are 1.75" deep so framing is not required. All paintings are varnished to add a protective coat against dust.

Only the highest quality archival fine art grade oil paints are used on a surface gessoed and prepared by myself.
