Hope and friendship depicted in the journey along a tree lined walk way towards the light. A sense of harmony, calmness and warmth conveyed through the use of soft green/yellow tones and highlights to depict the sunshine through the branches and at the end of the road.

This painting was inspired by my observation of my daughter and her two close friends strolling off together arm in arm toward the woods.

The technique used to produce this painting was a lengthy process of building up layers of subtle shades of green and yellows with different sized brush strokes.
