'Let Me Sleep...And Dream Of Sheep' is an original drawing and has been drawn in pencil and ink. Texture and detail has been added with the skinniest of pen nibs which creates lots of detail to look at. I love to experiment with abstract shape and pattern within a drawing and my imagination meanders in a happy way as I draw using words to tell a small tale within the drawing.
'Let Me Sleep...And Dream Of Sheep' includes words taken from one of Kate Bush's most gorgeous songs (135mm x 170mm in size)...like poppies heavy with seed...they take me deeper and deeper. Look closely to count all the sheep in this piece....see how many you can spot.
