Greek mythology is full of surprises. Here Zeus turns into a swan to seduce Leda. There is something that might seem politically incorrect in our time. And that's what interests me. What is the limit between the animal and us? Do we not belong to the same world? Very topical questions!
And for me it is always a story about the chair that I like to paint. The four women represent four attitudes of welcome and ecstasy. The poses are demonstrative, even bordering on kitsch. The painting is a theatrical space.
