Leaf #5 is on of an ongoing series of 'portraits' of natural objects. Leaves or other found objects are taken into the studio and photographed in much the same manner that a person sitting for a portrait might be. The use of selective and occasionally soft focus in these images adds to their somewhat ethereal quality.

High resolution digital photography printed on Moab Entrada Rag Bright 190 paper.
