Original artwork description:

There are so many inspiring artists in this work - first there is Franz Marc. I want to transfer his ideas, his style to new objects/ subjects like the human body. Than there is Andy Warhol, whose idea of replications, whose joy to just try things out, I admire. And finally there is sculpturist Gustav Vigeland, whose aesthetics is controversial, but very interesting.

This artwork is shaped by them, but in the end, it was my idea to use a photo from Social Media and work it digitally, I took a certain frame, changed the colours, re-framed it with Spray Paint and changed the contrasts. I cut the original pictures, so the focus is more on the man on the seat and his pose.

To me this picture means contemplation but sadness as well. What happened? Why is a young man so desperate?


IMPORTANT: None of my artwork is perfect, they are organic, there are drops of paint, tears in the paper, waves, glue residues. They are original!

SHIPPING: The costs for the shipping are estimates, depending on the size of the picture, the weight and the region it is shipped to. But I refund all my customers in case I have charged too much.
