Artist's description:

This latest focus on birds is a symbolic representation of feelings towards saying goodbye. I have just left Pittsworth and Toowoomba to live in Scarborough. I feel a desire to express beauty and life through birds as they represent freedom and diversity in the greatest forms. I use black charcoal in a unique way, brushing with makeup brushes to create a paint effect. I then let go and enjoy the free splashes of colour to create movement and emotion. This art piece fits perfectly in any regular A3 frame.

Materials used:

Acrylics and charcoal sealed on A3 300gsm white paper
