Artist's description:

In Greek/Roman mythology the peacock is identified with Hera (Juno) who created the peacock from Argus whose hundred eyes (seen on the tail feathers of the peacock) symbolize the vault of heaven and the eyes of the stars.

Peacocks are beautiful, bright and colourful creatures and are best known for their colourful plumage of feathers, A peacock’s tail feathers can reach up to six feet long and make up about 60 percent of its body length. Despite these odd proportions, the bird flies just fine, if not very far.

This painting has been fully varnished and protected against u.v light damage so you will know that the colours and vibrancy of the painting will stay as good as new for years to come. I hope you like this painting and If you have any questions , let me know and Ill do everything I can to answer them.
